Good boy, [she says in a gentle, but slightly smug, tone as she passes by him and tenderly pats him on the head.

Aoba then pulls the cast iron skillet from the oven and the plate of cookies from the counter. The cookies are shaped like sticks so they're easier for dipping. The skillet isn't even hot anymore, just pleasantly warm so that the dip inside is still gooey. She'll bring it out to the living room for them.]

Geeze.... not only does this look delicious, it smells delicious too. And here you were worried I could beat you.

Oh, come on. We both know getting ramen right is more complicated than cookies and a marshmallow dip.

Baking is more complicated than you're giving it credit.

All you need to do for baking is follow the recipe exactly! There's something to be said for the differences in cooking and baking.

[She takes a cookie and steals the first dip; cutting through the warm, soft marshmallow and picking up the chocolate underneath.]

With baking you have to be careful, and obedient. For cooking you can be experimental and rebellious.

Which is why baking is more complicated in my opinion. It's harder to change it up if you aren't paying attention to the proportions and stuff.

[ He takes the next dip with two cookie sticks, grabbing a big bunch of the delicious dip. Nom! He lets out a content sound. ]

Hey, some people like the direction and structure it provides. I can always be rebellious in other ways.

[Like making s'mores as a fun dip instead of actual s'mores! Aoba takes a bite of hers with a smile.]

[ he takes another scoop from the dip, looking like the happiest guy. He was in heaven.]

[Aoba uses one of the cookie sticks to dab a bit of the chocolate on his nose.]

[ He makes a bit of a goofy face as he tries to lick at his nose. He knows he looks silly, but he's doing it anyway. ]

[Aoba can't hold herself back. She doubles over and laughs openly at him.]

[Aoba taps her finger on her lips as she pretends to contemplate.]

[Aoba shifts on the couch. She gets up on her knees to try and be towering over him. Her hands rest on Kaji's shoulders for balance.]

[One hand leaves his shoulder to take him by the chin. Her thumb just under his lips, and her forefinger tucked just under the line of his jaw.]
