I ONLY EXIST TO SPITE GOD

Aoba is a girl who has a dormant ghost attached to her soul. In previous lives she has reset the timeline after a traumatic event and awakening the ghost. At this point the timeline has been reset and slightly altered four times. This has disrupted the flow of souls to the afterlife, and the displacement has upset both the gods and the reapers responsible for ferrying those souls.
One day an incubus attempted to feed off a wet dream of hers, but the ghost prevented it. The force the ghost used to prevent him from doing so knocked the demon into his corporeal form. It was a rude awakening for Amami, and at first she was threatening to cave his skull in with a metal bat because he was an intruder, but they made up after he almost fainted for being so depleted. Because demons cannot sleep, no rest for the wicked after all, Aoba allowed the incubus to use her laptop to browse the internet. From there he had found out that his scientific work when he was human built a lot of the groundwork for vaccines in modern day. With this in mind he made a case to his sire to contact a reaper for him so that he may argue a case for his immortal soul.
The reaper who is tasked with watching over Aoba's soul, has been doing his job a long time. So long that a lot of other reapers suspect he's one of the originals and not a human whose unfortunate end resulted in him being recruited. Rikka has been given the offer that if Aoba's soul can pass on without resetting another time his ultimate wish would be granted. So when he's approached by a demon to strike a deal, one that has already had contact with his job, he's inclined to hear it out. After all gods and their vassals are not allowed to directly interfere with human lives. But a demon? A demon can.
From then on the incubus and Aoba strive to work against the fate her haunting has instore for her. Along the way she meets up with a girl who is half incubus half human and she teaches Aoba to harness the latent powers within her.
